Run the Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok and experience Asia’s biggest city marathon, passing Bangkok’s most iconic temples, bridges, and royal landmarks.
The Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok (ATMBKK) is Thailand’s largest and most prominent road race, held every December in Bangkok. Attracting over 30,000 runners and more than 75,000 spectators, it has become one of Asia’s leading destination marathons, combining elite competition, mass participation, and vibrant city culture. The event offers: full, half, 10K, and a 4.5K family fun run. The marathon route starts at Rajamangala National Stadium and finishes near the Democracy Monument, taking runners through a fully closed city course past Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks, including Victory Monument, Wat Benchamabophit, Rama VIII Bridge, and the Grand Palace area. Beyond the race itself, ATMBKK delivers a full festival experience. A large-scale sports expo, live entertainment zones, cultural food offerings at the finish line, and charity activities create a dynamic race weekend atmosphere. Eliud Kipchoge serves as event ambassador, highlighting its growing international prestige.
