About Events

The Yongding Tulou Half Marathon takes place in Fujian Tulou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its extraordinary Hakka earthen architecture. Held in Yongding District, the race offers runners a rare opportunity to compete within one of China’s most culturally significant landscapes. The course passes through some of the region’s most iconic heritage sites and 5A-rated attractions, including the Prince of Tulou Scenic Area, the Gaobei Tulou Cluster, and Zhencheng Lou. Along the route, runners experience the distinctive circular earthen buildings, traditional villages, and living heritage of the Hakka people, creating an atmosphere unlike any other road race in China. Beyond the race itself, participants are welcomed with authentic cultural experiences such as the traditional Tulou Grand Blessing Banquet held at Zhencheng Lou, where Hakka cuisine and hospitality introduce runners to centuries-old local traditions.
