The Weining Half Marathon is the third stop of the Colorful Guizhou Half Marathon Super League and is widely known as the “Highland Marathon.” The race is held in Weining Yi Hui and Miao Autonomous County, where the course sits at an average elevation of around 2,200 meters. Despite the altitude, the climate is pleasantly cool, with an average summer temperature of about 18°C, earning the race the nickname “a natural air-conditioned marathon.” The highland scenery and fresh mountain air create a distinctive running experience for athletes looking for a challenging yet refreshing summer race.
