About Events

The Beijing Half Marathon is one of China’s most popular spring road races, attracting around 20,000 runners annually in Beijing. Known for its iconic city course and large-scale participation, the event offers runners a unique opportunity to race through the heart of the Chinese capital. The race starts near National Museum of China and Tiananmen Square before passing major city landmarks including East Chang'an Avenue, Yonghe Temple, and Temple of Earth. The course finishes at the iconic Beijing National Stadium (Bird's Nest), creating a memorable Olympic-themed finish experience. Combining historic landmarks, modern city scenery, and world-class race organization, the Beijing Half Marathon has become one of the must-run urban half marathons in China.
