Huahai Forest Half Marathon

The Huanghai Forest Half Marathon is a unique eco-themed race held annually in Yellow Sea Forest Park, attracting nearly 5,000 runners. Set within one of China’s largest coastal forest destinations, the event offers an exceptional running experience surrounded by nature. The course runs through the core scenic areas of the resort, with both the start and finish located on Hailin Avenue. More than 80% of the route is shaded by dense forest canopy, providing natural cooling and a comfortable running environment. Towering trees, fresh air, and abundant negative oxygen ions create a refreshing atmosphere that sets the race apart from traditional urban events. Known as a “breathing marathon,” the Huanghai Forest Half Marathon combines sustainability, wellness, and scenic beauty.
