Jiande Marathon

The Jiande Marathon takes place in Jiande, a historic city with more than 1,800 years of history. Formerly known as the Xin’an River Marathon, the event is renowned for its scenic course along the beautiful Xin’an River, one of China’s cleanest rivers. The route follows picturesque waterfront roads lined with green hills and crystal-clear water, offering runners a refreshing and runner-friendly experience. A unique highlight of the race is the famous “Xin’an River Mist,” a natural phenomenon created by the river’s year-round water temperature of around 17°C. Under the right conditions, soft mist drifts across the river, creating an atmospheric landscape rarely seen in other marathon destinations.
