The Minquan Marathon is a scenic road race held annually in Minquan County, attracting around 7,000 runners. Known as the hometown of the influential Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi, the event combines cultural heritage with the natural beauty of central China. The course passes through the renowned Shenggan Shelterbelt, where long stretches of shaded roads provide a comfortable running environment. Runners also experience the landscapes shaped by the historic Yellow River floodplain, showcasing the unique ecological character of the region and its connection to China's great river civilization. Blending philosophy, history, and nature, the Minquan Marathon offers a distinctive running experience beyond the typical city race.
