The Beijing Huairou 100 Mountain Running Race is a premier trail event set in the dramatic mountains of Huairou District, Beijing. Starting from the Yanqi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center, the course takes runners onto some of the most iconic sections of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall. Both the 100 km and 50 km routes feature extended Great Wall segments, including Mutianyu, Xiangshuihu, and views toward the rugged ridgelines of Jiankou, before winding through the quiet valleys of Shentangyu. This marks a major course upgrade and the first time the race has been held in this historic Great Wall area, offering a rare opportunity to run directly on one of China’s most legendary landmarks. Passing the thousand-year-old Hongluo Temple, the race blends endurance running with history and breathtaking mountain scenery, delivering a truly unforgettable Great Wall trail running experience.
