Jinyun Xiandu Half Marathon

The Jinyun Xiandu Half Marathon is a boutique scenic race held annually in Xiandu Scenic Area, attracting around 3,000 runners. Renowned for its spectacular natural beauty, the event offers an immersive journey through one of China’s most iconic landscape destinations. The course has been carefully designed to connect Xiandu’s signature scenery, including soaring rock formations, lush green mountains, and the crystal-clear waters of the Haoxi River. Runners are surrounded by landscapes often compared to traditional Chinese ink paintings, creating a uniquely poetic race experience. Every kilometer showcases the harmony of mountains, rivers, and rural scenery that has earned Xiandu the reputation of a real-life fairyland. Inspired by the theme “Yellow Emperor’s Jinyun, Fairyland on Earth,” the race combines cultural heritage with extraordinary natural beauty, allowing participants to fully experience the elegance and tranquility of Xiandu’s world-famous mountain-and-water landscapes.
