Jinshanling Great Wall Trail（GTWS)

The Jinshanling Great Wall Trail Race is one of the rare trail races in China where runners can compete directly on and around the Great Wall, and is part of the Golden Trail World Series. Held in September, the race takes place amid the stunning autumn colors of the Yanshan Mountains, with the dramatic Jinshanling Great Wall providing an unforgettable backdrop. Built around the legendary landscape of “The Great Wall is long, but Jinshanling is uniquely beautiful,” the course traverses the core section of Jinshanling Great Wall and the surrounding Yanshan mountain range. Ancient watchtowers, rugged mountain trails, and sweeping ridgelines create a challenging and visually spectacular route. Combining the history and architecture of the Great Wall with world-class trail running, the event offers runners a rare opportunity to experience Chinese heritage from the trail rather than from the sidelines.
