Run The Great Wall 330, a 330 km ultra-endurance challenge across rugged mountains, ancient Great Wall ruins, and some of northern China’s most spectacular wilderness landscapes.
The Great Wall 330 is one of China’s most demanding ultra-trail races, often referred to as the “Chinese Tor des Géants.” Built around the theme of Great Wall heritage and extreme endurance, the event challenges runners to cover 330.1 km with 13,818 meters of elevation gain within a 138-hour time limit. Set among the wild mountains of northern China, the course traverses remote ridgelines, dense forests, ancient Great Wall ruins, and landscapes shaped by Quaternary glacial activity. Participants experience a constantly changing environment where natural beauty and historical heritage merge into a single epic journey. A signature highlight is Asia’s largest monolithic rock, a dramatic geological landmark that towers above the course. Along the way, runners climb steep mountain trails and traverse unrestored sections of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall, experiencing both the physical demands of a world-class ultra and the cultural legacy of one of humanity’s greatest architectural achievement
